Lot Description
An early 20th century inlaid mahogany mantel clock by Lenzkirch, retailed by W & C Dickinson, Burnley. Having a 4.25" silvered Roman dial inscribed "W & C DICKINSON BURNLEY", the two-train movement, half hour-striking on a coiled gong, stamped Lenzkirch and numbered 485466, the case with shallow caddy top over boxwood-strung frieze, the bulging quadrant columns flanking inlaid foliate scrollwork, on boxwood-strung plinth and brass bun feet,13", (33cm) high.
