A late 19th century French black slate mantel clock Japy & Cie, Paris. Having a 3.5" (9cm) white enamelled Roman dial, the two-train movement, stamped AM 4434, outside countwheel striking on a bell, the incised case with rouge marble pilasters between lion mask ring handles on paw feet 9.5" (24cm) high, together with a 19th century French brass timepiece with Roman dial and single train movement with miniature pendulum, 3.75" (9.5cm) diameter
