An early 20td century brass ships bulkhead timepiece Mercer, St Albans. Having a 7" silvered Arabic dial inscribed 'MERCER, ST. ALBANS, ENGLAND', with lozenge pierced hands, the single-train spring driven movement with lever platform escapement, stamped 'OCTO' within a star, over 'BRITISH', in a typical brass bulkhead case, the bezel stamped 'A.P. W6578 SERIAL No. M.V. 180', 9.5" (24cm) diameter, together with a second timepiece, (2)
