Lot Description

A late 19th century French brass mantel clock. Attributed to Achille Brocot, circa 1880, having a 3" Roman dial, the engine-turned centre with two-train movement stamped AB flanking a star and numbered 3554, the case with a break-arched top over scrollwork friezes and uprights, raised on cast bun feet, 12", (30.5cm) high (Charles Allix records this AB stamp on carriage clocks by Brocot).
