Lot Description

A mid 19th century French ormolu and porcelain mantel clock by LeRoy & Fils, Paris, No. 9260. Having a 3.25" cellular Roman blackletter dial with fleur-de-lis painted rosette centre, the two-train bell-striking movement stamped "LEROY & FILS N.9260 A PARIS", the cast architectural case inset with porcelain panels of Norman monarchs to the cardinal points, on spreading base and turned feet, 14", (36cm) high.
