Lot Description

A Royal Worcester porcelain part dessert service comprising a pair of tall comports, the scroll shaped bowl with gilded moulded edge and pieced shaped panel to border, the ivory blush coloured ground decorated with floral spray, the pedestal base of shell and scroll moulded form, 4.25" (11cm) high x 8.5" (21.5cm) diameter, printed marks to base and numbered 1426, together a low comport and five matching plates, (8).

Condition Report

Large comports: one has break through column and has been re-glued. The other is undamaged but both have losses to the gilding.

The dwarf comport is free of damage but again is rubbed with losses to gilding. Two plates are free of damage but three have chips. All have rubbed with losses to gilding
