Early Victorian silver three piece tea service, comprising teapot, twin handled sugar basin and cream jug, each of panel sided bulbous form and engraved all over with floral motifs and scrolling foliage and with engraved monogram, with scroll handles, applied scrolling borders and standing on four feet with conforming decoration. Hallmarked John Eley London 1848. Gross combined weight 50.76 ozt (1579 grams).
