Lot Description

A Victorian silver bonbon dish of pierced oval form  with bow and scroll embossing with floral scroll rim, engraved crest and motto to the inside base of the dish and standing on a oval spread foot conforming in design. Hallmarked William Comyns & Sons London 1890. Max Length 5 3/4 Inches (4.6 cm), Max Width 4 3/8 (1.1 cm). Weight 3.3 ozt (103.34 grams)

General scratches, ware and tarnishing. Remnants of old polish visible to the recesses. A few minor tears to the delicate thin areas of the pierced decoration. Engraving and hallmark very clear and legible, although some rubbing on the makers mark is noticeable.
