Lot Description

A Victorian silver bonbon dish of oval form and elongated quatrefoil base, rising to vertical pierced decoration and a flat rim with stamped floral scroll rim. Hallmarked William Hutton & Sons Ltd London 1896. Length 6.5 Inches (16.5 cm), Width 4 7/8 Inches (2.4 cm). Weight 2.9 ozt (90.67 grams)

Condition Report

In overall fair to good condition, general scratches, marks and tarnishing from use. Some old polish visible to underneath recesses. Shallow dint to the base. Hallmarks in good condition, although makers mark rubbed, other marks more visible and legible. Some engraving on the scroll border also warn and rubbed from previous handling.
