Condition Report
The lot is in good overall condition with light scratches in keeping with general wear. Please see the Important Notices for Purchasers at the front of our catalogue for coloured gemstones. The star ruby is a deep purple red hue with inclusions that significantly affect the transmission of light through the gem. There is some iron oxide staining to some of the surface reaching fractures. The asterism is weak in daylight but is sharp and focused under a spotlight.
