Lot Description
An early 20th century 15ct gold turquoise and seed pearl wreath brooch. The textured seed pearl flowers with turquoise cabochon spacers, together with a later jade heart pendant. Brooch stamped 15ct. Diameter of brooch 2.4cms. Length of pendant 2.8cms. Brooch with fitted case.

Please see important notices for purchases at the back of our catalogue for coloured gemstones. Overall condition good. Surface scratches and small dents in keeping with general wear. The turquoise cabochons range in colour from dark-green to light blue. The seed pearls are creamy-white to yellow, well matched with rose and greenish overtones. Some of the pearls have surface imperfections. One pearl has a surface crack. Tarnishing to reverse of brooch. Weight 2.1gms.
Jade untested for natural colour origin. Jade brooch is not early 20th century. Overall condition good. Surface scratches and small dents in keeping with general wear. Jade is mottled light green to dark green with typical internal features.
