An early 20th century 15ct gold amethyst and split pearl brooch. The oval-shape amethyst and split pearl cluster, within an amethyst and split pearl surround, suspending a pear-shape amethyst drop, may be worn as a pendant. Stamped 15ct. Length 4cms.

Condition Report
Overall condition good. There are scratches to the brooch in keeping with the age of the piece. The back pin has been reattached at a later date, with solder visible to the hinge and catch. The amethysts are well matched, they are a medium purple tone with an even saturation of colour, there is slight abrasion to the facet edges of the amethyst visible with magnification. Estimated weight of central amethyst 7.70cts. There are some tiger stripe inclusions within the central amethyst The split pearls are fairly well matched with a bright lustre.
