Lot Description
An early 20th century 9ct gold paste, garnet and split pearl pendant. Of foliate design, the oval-shape pink paste collet, within an openwork surround, suspending a circular-shape garnet. Stamped 9ct. Length 4.6cms. Weight 3.2gms.

Condition Report
Overall condition fair. There are scratches and areas of discolouration to the pendant in keeping with the age of the piece. The pink and purple paste has possibly been replaced at a later date. There is a large conchoidal fracture to the outer facets of the pink paste, there are some slight abrasion to the facet edges of both. The split pearls are fairly well matched, some are quite grey with blemishes and imperfections. Some of the settings may need to be secured.
