A micro mosaic brooch. Of oval-shape outline, the micro mosaic flowers within a black onyx and rope-twist surround. Length 5.2cms.

Condition Report
Overall condition fair. There are scratches and areas of wear to the outer surround of the brooch, there are some dents to the rope twist surround. There is damage to some of the outer tesserae and areas of possible glue repair. There are scratches and some small chips to the edging of the black onyx. There is some possible lead solder repair to the back rim of the brooch, the back pin and catch is secure. Part of the outer rope surround has possibly been added at a later date. The surround possibly not original to the mosaic. Unhallmarked. Weight 29.2gms.
