Lot Description

A late Victorian 15ct gold opal five-stone ring. The graduated circular-shape opals to the plain band. Hallmarks for Birmingham, 1890.

Overall condition good. Minor surface wear in keeping with age. The opal are abraded. They have a cream to grey body colour. A fine fracture can be seen to the central opal. Play-of-colour can be seen, showing green and blue colours. Ring size Q 1/2. Weight 3gms.
