Lot Description
An early 20th century silver and gold emerald, diamond and freshwater pearl pendant. Of scrolling design, the rectangular-shape emerald suspended within a rose-cut diamond stylised bow, to the freshwater pearl drop and later fine-link chain. Possible French assay marks, partially rubbed. Length of pendant 4.2cms. Length of chain 41cms.

Condition Report
Overall condition fair to good. Some surface wear and scratches in keeping with age and wear. The pendant is possibly adapted from a pair of earrings. The suspender and chain are possibly a later addition. The emerald is medium green with fair colour saturation. Fairly good clarity with typical inclusions. Emerald in fair condition with some abrasion, scratches to facets and nibbles to facet edges. Please see Important Notices for Purchasers at the front of our catalogue for coloured gemstones. Diamonds fairly bright. Individual size prevents accurate colour/clarity assessment. Diamonds in poor condition with significant abrasion and chips. Weight 6gms.
