An early 20th century 15ct gold amethyst and split pearl pendant. Of stylised foliate design, the pear-shape amethyst suspended from an oval-shape amethyst within a split pearl surround, may be worn as a brooch. Stamped 15. Length 3.8cms. With fitted case.

The lot is in good overall condition with light scratches and small dents in keeping with general wear. Please see the Important Notices for Purchasers at the front of our catalogue for coloured gemstones. The amethyst are a strong slightly reddish purple hue with good clarity. The amethyst are in good condition with minor abrasions. Estimated total amethyst weight 1.60cts. The split pearls are well matched with minor surface wear. The pin may be a replacement. The box is discoloured, with some dirt to the silk. Weight 4.3gms.
