Lot Description
An early 20th century platinum and gold aquamarine, diamond and seed pearl brooch. The oval-shape aquamarine flanked by three single-cut diamonds with seed pearl accents to the tapered bar. Length 6.7cms.

Condition Report
Overall condition good. There are slight scratches to the bar in keeping with the age of the piece. The aquamarine is in good condition, with a medium blue tone and an even saturation of colour. Estimated aquamarine dimensions 8.5 by 6.4 by 3.35mm, estimated weight 1ct. Estimated total diamond weight 0.12ct, individual size and/or setting prevents accurate colour/clarity assessment. The seed pearls are in good. The back pin is metal and has possibly been replaced. Some settings may need to be secured. Unhallmarked. Weight 4.9gms.
