Lot Description
A sapphire and diamond cluster ring. Of marquise outline, the rectangular-shape sapphire within a vari-cut diamond surround, to the openwork shoulders and plain band. Estimated total diamond weight 0.65ct. Stamped 18ct.

Condition Report
The lot is in fair overall condition with light scratches and small dents in keeping with general wear. The band has been repaired/resized. Three of the diamonds have been replaced with single and brilliant-cut examples. The diamonds are mostly well matched, with some significantly lower colour grades. The sapphire is a slightly purplish blue hue with weak-moderate tone and saturation. The sapphire has a noticeable window with a small internal fracture. The sapphire is in poor condition with significant abrasion. Ring size O 1/2. Weight 3.4gms.
