Lot Description
A pair of mid Victorian gold garnet ear pendants, circa 1860. Each designed as circular garnet cabochon grape clusters with engraved leaf surmount, to the interlocking circles with rope-twist detail. Length 3.9cms.

Condition Report
The lot is in fair overall condition with light scratches and small dents in keeping with general wear. The hook surmounts replacement fittings of a similar age, possibly silver gilt. One of the interlocking circles is loose though still attached. One of the leaf surmounts has been repaired. One of the ear pendants is significantly discoloured. The garnets are foil backed and appear well matched in colour with typical small dark inclusions. The ear pendants have hook fittings for pierced ears. Unhallmarked. Weight 4.6gms.
