An opal and diamond cluster ring. The oval-shape opal within an old-cut diamond border, to the tapered band. Estimated total diamond weight 0.50cts. Stamped 18ct.

Condition Report
Overall condition good to fair. The ring mount is early 20th century, however the opal is a possible replacement. A number of single-cut diamonds and one old-cut diamond are set within the surround. Modern round brilliant replacements are also present. Dimensions of opal 9.5 by 6.1 by 2.4mm.
Light scratches and scuffs can be seen, general wear. The opal is abraded. Play-of-colour can be seen throughout, showing green, blue and orange colours. The diamonds are bright and lively. Large inclusions and fractures can be seen within most. Ring size O 3/4. Weight 2.9gms.
