An early 19th century 18ct gold mourning ring. The rectangular-shape woven hair panel within a black enamel surround reading 'In Memory Of', to the plain band. Hallmarks for London, 1827.

Overall condition good. Surface scratches and small dents in keeping with general wear. There are small chips and thinning to the enamel in places. Signs of repair to shank near both shoulders. Possible replacement band of similar age. Personal inscription to inner band dated '18 Nov' 1827'. Ring size N. Weight 4.1gms.
