Lot Description
A late 19th century gold turquoise and split pearl necklace. The circular turquoise cabochon and split pearl quatrefoil pendant, suspended from a series of similarly-set crescent and floral motif, links to the fancy-link back-chain. Length 44.5cms.

Condition Report
Overall condition fair. There are scratches in keeping with the age of the piece. The suspender loop to the pendant has been reattached at a later date with a replacement loop. The split pearls are fairly well matched, some are slightly more grey in colour, others more peach. There is damage to the nacre of some of the split pearls. The settings may need to be secured. The turquoise vary in shade some more green others more blue, some have possibly been replaced. The chain has possibly been lengthened with belcher links added to the termination. The clasp is secure. Unhallmarked. Weight 15.6gms.
