Lot Description
A late 19th century diamond flower composite brooch. The old-cut diamond within a rose-cut diamond petal surround, to the later brooch fitting. Two diamonds deficient. Principal diamond estimated weight 0.30ct, H-I colour, SI1-SI2 clarity. Diameter 2cms.

Condition Report
Overall condition good. Surface scratches and small dents in keeping with general wear. Diamonds fairly bright and lively. Individual size and cut of smaller diamonds prevents accurate colour/clarity assessment. There is solder work visible on the brooch fitting. Discolouration to reverse of brooch. Unhallmarked. Weight 5.4gms.
