ROLEX - a bi-metal automatic gentleman's Oyster Perpetual Datejust circa 1959, the black dial with hourly applied markers, bordered by a minute track with Arabic divisions, date aperture positioned to three o'clock, unidirectional bezel, tonneau shaped case fitted to an associated brown leather strap with pin buckle, reference number 6609, serial number 388233, calibre 1065. Case width 36mm.

Rolex Oyster Perpetual Datejust wrist watch, movement is functioning, dial has some marks but is generally in good condition, hourly markers show some scratches, hands are scratched, luminous paint work to hands is discoloured and marked, glass has some scratches and marks from use, case has medium scratches from use, case back is scratched and does not secure to case back properly, case back still has sticker partially attached, bezel is scratched, bezel insert is not attached to bezel and easily comes away, crown is scratched from use, watch is fitted to associated leather strap which appears in good condition with light signs of wear with creases and discolouration, pin buckle is scratched from use.
This lot does not come with box or papers.
Due to the opening of the case back we recommend that this lot be resealed by an authorised technician before use near water.
