Lot Description

An 18k gold manual wind gentleman's chronograph wrist watch by Titus, the silvered dial with hourly applied gilt Arabic numerals alternating with gilt markers, subsidiary counters positioned to three and nine o'clock, all surrounded by a tachymeter track, tonneau shaped case, stamped 18k 0.750 with poincon, numbered 451 405, fitted to an associated brown leather strap with gold plated pin buckle, unsigned seventeen jewel movement. Case width 38mm.

Condition Report

Titus wrist watch, movement is functioning intermittently, dial is discoloured with dark marks visible, scratches and chips visible to some of the paint work on the dial, hourly applied markers appear discoloured and showing scratches, hands appear discoloured with slight scratches and marks, glass has light scratches, case has medium scratches from use, dents visible and deeper scratches on edge of case back from previous opening of case back, case back does not secure to watch head and easily comes away, crown appears bent, chronograph pushers are not functioning well, watch fitted to associated leather strap which is in almost new condition.
