An 18k gold key wind open face pocket watch, the gilt dial having black Roman numeral hour markers, central panel with floral and foliate decoration, outer minute track, ornately decorated case, stamped 18k, with scroll and foliate border to rear surrounding a painted representation of an idyllic country scene, fitted with a frosted gilt Swiss bar movement, signed Stauffer, with cylinder escapement. Case diameter 36mm. Total weight 32gms.
