Lot Description
A George IV silver key wind pair case pocket watch signed Kroese, the silvered dial with hourly applied Roman numerals, date aperture set to six o'clock, all surrounded by a minute track with Arabic divisions, round case hallmarked London, possibly 1822, fitted with a signed full plate fusee and chain movement with verge escapement and date indication. Outer case diameter 56mm. Watch is A/F.

Pair case pocket watch, key wind movement is not currently functioning, movement would benefit from an overhaul as it is missing the escapement and fusee chain amongst other parts, the dial is heavily tarnished and would benefit from a clean, the hands are tarnished and the minute hand is slightly bent, inner case and glass are missing, outer case is a replacement, outer case is heavily tarnished with medium scratches and scuffs, pendant and bow are missing.
