An early 20th century continental white metal keyless wind open face Hydrographic Service issue deck watch signed Vacheron & Constantin, the silvered dial with hourly applied black Arabic numerals, subsidiary seconds counter positioned to six o'clock, all surrounded by a minute track, plain round case, stamped 0.925, numbered 284566, marked H.S. 2 with British broad arrow above 50662 to rear, fitted with a signed nineteen jewel movement numbered 450662, with club tooth lever escapement, cut bi-metal compensation balance and swan neck regulator. Case diameter 60mm. Together with a base metal Dennison safety case.

Vacheron & Constantin deck watch, keyless wind movement is currently functioning, few tiny marks to the dial, hands appear to be in good condition, the glass is lightly scratched, case has medium scratches and tiny dints, engraving to the rear, safety case is pitted and has light scratches, three screws to the rear of the safety case are protruding.
