Lot Description
A George IV silver key wind pair case pocket watch, the white enamel dial with black Roman numeral hour markers surrounded by an outer minute track, plain cases, inscription to rear of inner case, both hallmarked London 1829, maker's initials possibly AH, fitted with a gilt full plate fusee movement signed Ball Layland, Liverpool, with verge escapement and pierced balance cock. Case diameter 57mm. Watch A/F.

Silver key wind pocket watch, movement is not functioning, dial is showing marks and cracks, hands are missing, glass is showing scratches and scuffs from use, outer case is heavily tarnished and shows rubbed engraving to the back, outer case shows surface scratches and marks from use, pusher to open outer case is missing, inner case is heavily tarnished and showing scratches, back os inner case shows personal engraving, bow and pendant are rubbed.
