Lot Description
A George III silver key wind pair case pocket watch by Henry Overall of Dover, the white dial with hourly applied black Arabic numerals, subsidiary seconds counter positioned to six o'clock, bordered by a minute track, round plain case, hallmarked London 1794, fitted with a signed full plate fusee and chain movement with verge escapement, pierced balance cock. Outer case diameter 57mm.

A key wind pocket watch, movement is currently functioning, dial is scratched and has small marks, chip at the edge of the dial by six o'clock, a few tiny chips at the edge in other areas, hands marked and discoloured, light scratches and a few tiny chips on the glass, case has medium scratches caused by general wear, edge of case shows signs of wear and is scuffed, one area with shallow dent, small areas of discolouration, personal engraving to case back that reads 'ALEXANDER MC.FEE', wear and rubbing to the crown, stem and bow, also tiny dints and small areas if discolouration, outer case is discoloured and has medium scratches and tiny dints, button to open is slightly misshapen.
