Lot Description
A George III silver key wind pair case pocket watch signed Thomas Fardon, Deddington, the white enamel dial having black Arabic numeral hour markers surrounded by an outer minute track, inner date track, the plain cases hallmarked London 1805, name and date engraved to the rear of the inner case, fitted with a signed gilt full plate fusee and chain movement with verge escapement and decorated balance cock. Outer case diameter 57mm.

A silver pocket watch, movement is currently functioning, tiny area of tarnishing on movement, numerous cracks and light scratches on the dial, chip at bottom of the dial between six and seven o'clock, small marks and areas of discolouation on the hands, glass is scratched with small chips, medium to heavy scratches on the case, tiny dints, dents on edge and back of case, personal engraving to case back that reads 'J*STURCH 1812', areas of discolouration, case has areas of discolouration and medium scratches and small scuffs, personal engraving to back of the case that reads 'JS', mark on the case back.
