Lot Description

A Victorian silver key wind open face pocket watch, the white enamel dial with hourly applied Roman numerals, bordered by a minute track, subsidiary seconds dial to six o'clock, round case hallmarked London 1873, milled band, engine turned design with vacant cartouche to the rear, fitted with a full plate fusee and chain movement with ratchet tooth lever escapement signed J. Brownbill, Liverpool. Case diameter 48mm.

A silver pocket watch, movement is not functioning currently, a few tiny marks on the dial, tiny chips at the edges, a few scratches and cracks on the dial between seven and eight o'clock, marks and discolouration on the hands, glass is lightly scratched, should polish out, case has medium scratched, rubbing to the milled band and engine turned design, small dent on case back, small areas of discolouration would benefit from a clean, bow is slightly misshapen and residue and discolouration is visible.
