A late 19th century micro mosaic brooch. The tesserae depicting various flowers, within an oval-shape malachite panel and rope-twist surround. Stamps indistinct. Length 4.9cms.

Overall condition fair to good. Minor surface wear in keeping with age and wear. Micro mosaic in good condition with minor abrasion and nibbles. Malachite in fair to poor condition with fractures to the front and reverse. Please see Important Notices for Purchasers at the front of our catalogue for coloured gemstones. Brooch fitting in good working order, hinge pin has moved slightly to one side. Stamps indistinct. Weight 16.3gms.
