A late Victorian gold diamond and split pearl star brooch. Designed as a graduated split pearl star with old-cut diamond centre, each ray inter-spaced by a split pearl petal, to the similarly-set suspender, may be worn as a brooch. Length 4.8cms.

Condition Report
Overall condition good. Minor surface wear in keeping with general wear. Estimated diamond weight 0.20ct. The diamond is bright and lively. Fine feathers and fractures can be seen under magnification. Without the aid of laboratory equipment, it has not been possible to determine if these cultured pearls are from a fresh or saltwater source. All settings will need attention, however they appear secure. Weight 10.5gms.
