Condition Report
Overall condition fair. The opal has part of the stone matrix visible, in places this is surface reaching and has worn away in some places leaving a surface pitting. There are large surface reaching cracks running across the opal at the widest and narrowest points of the pear-shape. Cracks also appear on the reverse of the stone along with shallow associated chips. The predominant play of colour through the stone is green with blue/purple and small flashes of orangy red across the base. The diamonds are well matched and the mount has incurred general surface scratches in keeping with it's age and being worn.
