A late Victorian 18ct gold opal and diamond ring. The graduated oval opal cabochons, with single-cut diamond spacers, to the scrolling gallery and plain band. Hallmarks for Birmingham, 1872. Weight 5.7gms.

Condition Report
Overall condition good. Light scratches and scuffs can be seen, in keeping with age. All settings will need checking. The opals are abraded and will need repolishing. Strong green, blue and orange play-of-colour can be seen. The diamonds are bright and lively. Individual size and setting prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment. Ring size O 1/2.
