Lot Description
ELIZABETH GAGE - an 18ct gold opal triplet pendant. The opal triplet within a textured collet surround, suspended from an associated 18ct gold mesh-link tubular neck-chain. Pendant signed Gage. Hallmarks for London, 2004. Length of pendant 8cms. Length of chain 42cms. With Elizabeth Gage case.

Condition Report
The lot is in good to very good overall condition with light scratches in keeping with general wear. Both the necklace and the pendant are independantly hallmarked for 18ct gold and both have the EG sponsor mark for Elizabeth Gage. The chain is also stamped 965% to the clasp. The opal displays a predominantly blue / green play of colour, with small flashes of orange appearing in a few places when the stone is turned in the light. On the reverse of the stone there is a very fine surface crazing running across the bottom third, however this does not spread to the front of the stone, there is also a shallow sliver-type chip or slight saw mark at the top of the stone on the reverse. The mount and chain are in good condition. Weight 81.5gms.
