Lot Description
A selection of jewellery. To include a pair of late 19th century coral earrings, an Edwardian 9ct gold seed pearl heart-shape locket and a single continental foil-backed ruby foliate ear pendant with graduated cultured pearl fringe. Coral untested for natural colour origin. Locket with hallmarks for Chester, 1901.

Condition Report
The lot is in fair to good overall condition with scratches and small dents in keeping with general wear. The coral earrings have replacement hook fittings for pierced ears. The coral is a deep reddish orange hue with minor colour variation. Length of earrings 2.1cms. The split pearl is discoloured with moderate nacre wear. Length of pendant 1.5cms. The continental earring surmount is loose. The earring fitting is broken with a broken soft solder repair. The foil-backed rubies vary in colour and have typical inclusions including some surface reaching fissures. One ruby is deficient. The surmount is stamped 86, partially worn. The cultured pearls are misshapen and vary in colour, lustre and surface quality. Length 6.1cms.
