Lot Description

An 18ct gold cultured pearl, sapphire and diamond pendant. The cultured pearl, measuring approximately 10.5mm, suspended from a circular-shape sapphire and brilliant-cut diamond surmount. Hallmarks for Birmingham. Length 2.5cms.

Condition Report

Overall condition good. Light scratches and scuffs can be seen, general wear. The cultured pearl has a white to silver body colour, with pink and green over tones. Minor blemishes can be seen to the nacre. The sapphires have a medium hue. The diamonds are bright and lively. Plain suspender stamped 012 indicating the diamond weight and 016, indicating the sapphire weight.

Without the aid of laboratory equipment, it has not been possible to determine if the cultured pearl is from a fresh or saltwater source.
