An early 20th century 9ct gold split pearl necklace. The central split pearl flower, with articulated foliate sides, to the trace-link chain. Stamped 9ct. Length 43.5cms. Weight 6.3gms.

Overall condition fair to good. Some surface wear and discolouration in keeping with general wear. Split pearls vary slightly in shape and hue. Generally creamy yellowish white, with rose and bluish overtones. Some have a more yellowish or greenish hue. Fair to poor skins with surface blemishes. Fair lustre.
