A multi-gem moth brooch. The old-cut diamond wings with circular-shape sapphire and ruby accents to the circular-shape sapphire eye detail. One diamond deficient. Estimated total diamond weight 0.35ct. Length 3.3cms.

Overall condition good. Surface scratches and small dents in keeping with general wear. Estimated sapphire weight 0.60ct, medium blue, well matched with minor surface abrasions. Estimated total ruby weight 0.45ct, medium pinkish red with minor surface abrasions. Diamonds fairly bright with surface reaching fractures and surface chips. Individual size and setting prevents accurate colour/clarity assessment. Discolouration to reverse. Visible lead solder to reverse of brooch due to possible repair. Unhallmarked. Weight 8.4gms.
