A late Victorian labradorite and diamond monkey's head stickpin. The carved labradorite monkey's head, with old-cut diamond collet eyes, to the later replacement pin. Length of monkey's head 1.2cms. With Asprey case.

Condition Report
Overall condition good. Some surface wear in keeping with age and wear. Labradorite translucent to opaque, grayish blue, with blue adularescence. Typical inclusions that significantly affect the passage of light through the stone. Labradorite in fair to good condition with some abrasion. Diamonds fairly bright, differ slightly in shape. Estimated total diamond weight 0.04ct. Individual size prevents accurate colour/clarity assessment. Scattered inclusions seen under 10x magnification. Diamonds in fair condition with some abrasion and nibbles. Unhallmarked. Weight 2.9gms.
