Lot Description

Two early 20th century gold miniature fob seals. The first designed as an oval-shape bloodstone plaque to the engraved and wire-work surmount, the second designed as a rock crystal panel within an engraved pedestal. Lengths 1.4 and 2cms.

Condition Report

Overall condition good. Minor surface wear in keeping with age and wear. Bloodstone opaque dark green with scattered typical red inclusions, seal engraving possibly reads 'Claude'. Rock crystal transparent and colourless, engraved with initials. Gemstones in good condition with minor abrasion and nibbles.
