Lot Description
A cultured pearl and diamond pendant. The cultured pearl within an old-cut diamond scalloped surround, suspending a rose and old-cut diamond foliate drop, to the single-cut diamond surmount and belcher-link chain. Estimated total diamond weight 1.70cts. Length of pendant 5.1cms. Length of chain 46cms.

Condition Report
Overall condition fair - good. The old brilliant cut diamonds have a fairly strong yellow tint, some of the diamonds are replacements, one is replaced with a modern brilliant cut and is noticable in the difference of the colour and cut. Many of the stones have chips/surface reaching inclusions to the surface. The diamond in the drop surmount does not sit perfectly in it's mount and may be a later replacement. The cultured pearl has a hair-line crack running around the top third. The connecting bar appears to have been repaired at some point. The piece has been highly polished. Unhallmarked. Weight 5.3gms.
