A turn of the century continental gold, amethyst and seed pearl necklace. The graduated oval-shape amethyst collets with seed pearl spacers, to the oval-shape amethyst clasp. Estimated total amethyst weight 68cts. Length 46cms.

Condition Report
The lot is in good overall condition with scratches and small dents in keeping with general wear. The clasp shows minor soft solder repair but does not fasten securely. The safety chain is a later addition. Please see important notices in the back of the catalogue for Coloured Gemstones. The amethyst are a pale-medium purple hue with moderate-strong colour zoning and minor abrasion. The seed pearls are irregularly shaped. Unhallmarked. Weight 30.7gms.
