A selection of four gem-set rings. To include an early 20th century gold rectangular-shape garnet ring with crossover shoulders, an early 20th century gold oval opal cabochon ring, a circular moonstone cabochon ring and a brilliant-cut diamond and circular-shape ruby cluster ring. Two stamped 18ct and 14k. Two unhallmarked. Total weight 11.5gms.

Condition Report
The lot is in good overall condition with scratches and small dents in keeping with general wear. The metal shows varying degrees of tarnish/discolouration. The rings have been repaired/resized. The early 20th century rings have been repaired with soft solder visible, the opal ring possibly with replacement band. Please see important notices in the front of the catalogue regarding coloured stones. The garnet is a purple hue with typical crystal inclusions. The opal has a milky white body colour with small areas of green and blue play of colour in between striations of opal without play of colour in a slightly denser white. The opal has significant surface abrasion. The moonstone is a pale white hue with good adularescence. The rubies are a well matched purplish red hue with typical inclusions including some surface reaching cavities. The diamond appears bright, estimated diamond weight 0.15ct, H-I colour, SI clarity. Ring size K - P.
