Condition Report
Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches and tarnishing in keeping with age and wear. First brooch has two old-cut, and one single-cut diamond. Estimated total diamond weight 0.15ct. Diamonds in good condition with minor abrasion. The second brooch has one rose-cut diamond, fairly bright. Due to the closed back setting and nature of the rose-cut it is not possible to calculate the diamond weight. Based on the surface spread alone, it appears to occupy the same surface space as a diamond with an estimated total weight of 0.02ct, however it is not possible to gauge the depth of the stone, this estimated weight does not reflect the true weight of the diamond in any way. Individual size of the diamonds prevents accurate colour/clarity assessment. Safety chains possibly later replacements, both of which are at fault. Total weight 10.9gms.
