An early 20th century platinum diamond cocktail watch. The marquise-shaped silvered dial within a single-cut diamond surround to the engraved sides and synthetic sapphire winder, on a later 9ct gold expanding bracelet. Bracelet hallmarked for Birmingham, 1952. Case stamped 99 1/2 % Platinum. Weight 14.9gms.

Condition Report
The lot is in fair to good overall condition with light scratches and small dents in keeping with general wear. The silvered dial shows numerous scratches and discolouration. The hands are broken. The synthetic sapphire has significant surface abrasion. Estimated total diamond weight 0.60ct, individual diamonds are too small to accurately assess colour/clarity grades. Length of watch head 3.2cms. Length of bracelet 13cms. The watch mechanism is stamped Swiss Made, Glycine.
