A German 'Vienna' porcelain trinket box of compressed spherical form, the hinged cover painted with a scene entitled beneath 'Jupiter & Calisto', the figures watched by Cupid from behind a tree, within gilt palmette and multiple geometric borders reserved on a puce ground, blue 'beehive' mark beneath, 2.75" (7cm) diameter.
